I woke up in a panic this morning. The sun was peaking through my blinds, and my cell phone read 6:43 a.m. I had overslept and had to be at work in roughly 30 minutes! I ran to the bathroom and flipped on the shower, only to realize 10 seconds later that it was Saturday. Of course there was no way I could go back to sleep, so there goes a very good opportunity to sleep in flying out the window. Fantastic.
Hello. I hope your Saturday started better than mine. 🙂
I feel like I got a lot accomplished today. While mom and dad were fine-tuning the reception menu and doing other miscellaneous things for the wedding, I took the free afternoon and ran a ton of errands.
These errands included:
-signing up for a tanning package (I have not tanned in two years, but when my mom is worried I’m sick because I “just look sooo pale”, I know it’s time to lay in the cancer box for a few minutes.) =)
-developing lots of pictures to frame around the reception
-grabbing a yummy Rosie’s lunch with Jennifer Voorhies and Amira
-buying lots of gorgeous pictures frames, a cake topper, a new guestbook (returning the other one!)
-getting very close to finishing christmas shopping
I went to my work Christmas party tonight and had a really nice time. Am I really old enough to attend my own work christmas party? I kind of like being old. It’s been really fun so far… 🙂
I am exhausted. Phone date with Jamie in five minutes then off to dreamland.
I apologize if my post have been EXTRA boring lately. I am more or less keeping this blog for ME and my wedding planning log.
xoxo.
Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
