10 Lifestyle Blogs I Love

There are many blog genres floating around the internet, and one of the most popular is the lifestyle category. A lifestyle blog can be simply defined as a window into one’s life. A reader may find posts about weekend happenings, what’s on the dinner table, a recent home project, and fashion picks all in one week. Though I read blogs that fit into numerous categories, I’m partial to lifestyle bloggers because those are my people and who my blog identifies with the most. 🙂

Today I want to share with you some of my favorite lifestyle bloggers.

A Cup of Jo – Joanna’s site feels more like reading a magazine, and I love it. I’ve been reading her site for years. Readers can expect high-quality posts multiple times a day, and it seems like no topic is off-limits. Fave Recent Post: 7 Best Podcasts to Try

Cupcakes and Cashmere – Emily is another blogger I’ve been following for years, and similar to Joanna, her posts are clean, high-quality, and thought-provoking. She recently had her first child (a baby girl), and I’ve loved her quick posts about adjusting to her new favorite role. Fave Recent Post: The Impact of a Positive Response

Elizabeth Loves – I found Elizabeth last year when I was searching for fellow military spouse bloggers, and after reading her blog for year I feel like I know her. She’s stationed in Hawaii with her husband, and not only is she a fabulous writer, but she’s a great web designer! Keep an eye out for my new site reveal sometime later in June. 🙂 Fave Recent Post: 6 Tips for Hiring a Web Designer

Emilie Lima Burke – Emilie found me a few months ago through our military connection and she recently started a blog of her own. She’s a senior at Princeton and wise beyond her years! I’ve been incredibly impressed the last few months watching her grow her site through her networking skills and well-written content. Face Recent Post: Friendships in College

Hey Kerri Blog – Kerri and I were connected after I won a giveaway on her blog, and she has kept me laughing ever since! Her quick wit and light-hearted content is fun to read. Fave Recent Post: 3 Reasons Why I’ll Hit Unfollow

Mix & Match Family – Shay’s blog is absolutely, hands down, my favorite site. She has a post up by 5 a.m. every day, and I usually click over to her site within the first couple hours of waking up. She’s an incredible mom, wife, daughter, and friend, and even I find it odd that I look up to someone so much that I’ve never actually met. Fave Recent Post: $500 Kendra Scott Giveaway (ends 4/28)

Munchkins & The Military – I found Alex around the same time I found Elizabeth, and she’s also stationed in Hawaii with her beautiful family. My favorite posts of hers revolve around being a mom to her three kiddos and pictures of their Hawaiian day-to-day life. Fave Recent Post: 5th Birthday Q & A

The Blooming Air Force Bride – Elizabeth lives in Alaska with her Air Force husband, and her posts this past winter about Alaska living were fascinating! Living up there is something most of us will never do, so I love living vicariously through her words and pictures. She’s also great at networking and being active in the blogging community. Fave Recent Post: Verses for Every Occassion

The Girl Who Loved to Write – Chelsea will author a book one day; I know it. She’s an unbelievable writer! She writes a lot of poetry that usually lends itself to whatever topic is on her heart. I’ve loved following her the last few months. Fave Recent Post: Books She Read in April

The Silver Twig – I originally found Ashley after one of her posts went viral, but we didn’t connect on a blogger level until a couple months ago. She is honest and encouraging and driven and just all around a super great person to have in your corner. Fave Recent Post: Mixcup Review

Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
