Give a Bottle Breacher

“This is definitely the only time that beer and bullets go well together!”

My husband muttered these words tongue in cheek last night as he proudly used his brand new Bottle Breacher bottle opener for the first time to crack open a cold Father’s Day brew to drink with dinner. Cheers to one heck of an incredible dad.

Have you ever heard of this incredibly clever company and product called Bottle Breacher? We first learned about it over a year ago when Bottle Breacher debuted on one of our favorite TV shows Shark Tank, and Jamie has wanted one from the second it aired! In a nutshell, a Bottle Breacher bottle opener is a hand crafted .50 caliber bottle opener that’s created by veterans. The bottle openers are created from dummy ammunition and are completely harmless. They’re created carefully and thoughtfully so that the product lasts for years.

Not only does my husband Jamie think that this bottle opener is the coolest thing ever, but I have to agree with him. I already know it’s going to be quite the conversation starter at our next barbecue! It’s so eye-catching and unique!

Two of my good girlfriends were recently brainstorming for gifts for their husbands for various career accomplishments, and they both immediately ordered their husbands a Bottle Breacher after I shared the idea with them. I heard that both guys were so surprised and absolutely loved the idea! I can think of a million occasions that a Bottle Breacher would be an appropriate gift – promotions, birthdays, Father’s Day, Christmas, Change of Command, going away, or just for brownie points of course.

Jamie had the option to choose between a finish of black, brass, or chrome, so he decided to go with brass. There were also a number of designs he could pick from, but not surprisingly he went with an engraved American flag (you can find more designs here). Finally, he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to engrave “Beat Navy” along the side. It showed up at our door two days later looking exactly like what he envisioned, and he was thrilled!
Update: We’ve used this bottle opener constantly for 2.5 years now, and we still love it as much as the day we got it. It’s such a wonderful conversation piece.

Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
