Stitch Fix #11

This month I received a new stylist (Britt), and I definitely want to keep her around! She sent the kindest note along with my box and picked out some great pieces to send me this month! I’ll go ahead and say upfront that if I had an unlimited clothing budget each month I actually would have kept everything in this box! I fortunately (and unfortunately) really liked it all and everything fit really well! Because we have a bunch of things going on right now my Stitch Fix funds are lower, so I only held on to my favorite item. Booooo. Life is hard. 😉

Sometimes I feel guilty for only keeping one or two items each month, but then I have to remind myself that there’s zero pressure to keep anything (they’re keeping my $20 anyway)! If I only keep one item that I LOVE per month, at the end of the year I’ll still have 12 new items in my closet that I consider “favorites”. And as usual, I always find that the things I keep are items I probably wouldn’t have picked up on my own. Doing Stitch Fix the last 10 months has really helped me figure out more of what my style is!

Let’s get to it!

Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan

I already have a cardigan the exact same length and color (though I like this one better than my other one). Otherwise I absolutely love this cardigan and highly recommend it to cardigan lovers like me! I have a red cardigan that’s exactly like this one that I’ve probably worn once a week the last two winters!

Pixley Polly Tie Waist Tunic & Rune Kiley Ankle Zip Leggings

So I received my box on Monday, and I loved this top so much that I put it on first thing Tuesday! I love the color and love the fit! Though I could technically pair it with leggings regularly because it fully covers my booty, it’s a little short and I feel better wearing it with straight leg jeans.

For this picture I’ve paired the tunic with leggings that I received this time around! I received a black pair of leggings from the same designer in a previous fix, and I wear them all the time! They’re my favorite leggings I’ve ever had! I also really love this navy pair, but after scanning my closet I don’t anticipate wearing navy leggings very often. Most of my tunics go with black leggings, so I can’t justify keeping the navy ones right now.

Daniel Rainn Lindero Button Down Tunic

Ahh I’ve been torn about this one for four days!! I absolutely love the fit of this tunic; It’s perfect! I really want to keep it! I think it would look so dang cute with a pair of short fringe boots, but I just can’t keep it all this month! Whyyyyy!

Daniel Rainn Camulos Henley Tunic

I love this top too! I’m telling you – Britt did a fabulous job this month! I can’t explain over the computer how comfy, cozy, and pretty this top is in person, and I know I’d wear it a lot! It’s just not a “need” this month.  Sometimes these boxes are such a test of self control. 😉

What is Stitch Fix?

Stitch Fix is a stop-anytime apparel subscription service that sends customers five pieces of clothing and accessories once a month (or more or less depending on one’s preferences) based on price points that one designates in her profile. Stitch Fix stylists hand-pick what to send each customer based on one’s online profile created upon sign up. Customers are charged a $20 styling fee upfront per shipment, but the styling fee is later applied to any item(s) the customers chooses to keep.  If one chooses to send back all five items, Stitch Fix keeps the $20 fee. A customer’s best bet is to keep at least one item since $20 has already been paid. Stitch Fix also includes a prepaid bad to send all unwanted items back. If a customer chooses to keep all five items, she gets a 25% discount off of the entire box. So awesome! I love this concept of shopping!

Additional note: Stitch Fix also offers petite and maternity styles!

Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
