This post is brought to you by Golden Tote. As always, thank you for your continued support of sponsored posts! They help keep the lights on around here.
I’m positive you know that subscription services are all the rage right now, and our household has absolutely hopped on board! We have diapers on delivery, dinners on delivery, and have tried several other delivery services. Nearly all of them offer either deep discounts or significant savings, and both of those are reasons to get behind.
The newest delivery service that I gave a whirl was Golden Tote, and I’ll cut straight to the chase: the whole process was really fun! Golden Tote is a women’s clothing delivery service with a few features that make it unique. Let me break it down. This just may be something that’s up your alley!
1.) Clients fill out an extensive profile and then select to receive their Golden Tote, paying $149 up front (stay with me.)
2.) Clients then select two clothing items to receive from an extensive selection of dresses, tops, bottoms, rompers, and more.
3.) Stylists (who are clothing designers from LA) then review a client’s profile and select three more clothing items to surprise the costumer with.
4.) Costumers then receive their Golden Tote, made up of the items they selected plus the surprise items! If you do the math, each item comes out to right at $30 each. You get to keep all of it since you’ve already paid for it, but if you want to send back some of the items you have two options. You can either send it back for a refund (though you may end up paying full price for the items you decided to keep since they were originally deeply discounted) or you can participate in the very active Facebook page for Golden Tote trades!
5.) You can also select the $59 option (you pick one item and the designers pick the other) or the $89 option where all three items are a surprise!
So that’s the rundown in a nutshell! Let’s take a look at what I got in my tote.
Golden Tote Review
Here are the two items I selected.
Double Duty White/Black Top
I loved this top the second I saw it! I took my measurements, matched them up with the measurements listed for this shirt, selected a medium, and voila! Perfect fit! I really love this shirt and will be bringing it along to the beach in a few weeks.
Sweet Summertime Pink Dress
I took my measurements for this dress, and the site suggested I order a medium. I loved this dress on the model and hoped I would love it as much in person. As soon as I got my box I grabbed this dress to try on first and smiled from ear to ear when I saw how perfectly it fit. I’m thrilled that the two items I picked were such perfect fits.
Here are the items the designers selected for me.
Joy & Co Floral Lace Top
This top is so interesting to me. It’s a perfect fit (high five to my stylist!), but I don’t think I would have picked this out for myself! It’s beautiful though and quite eye catching. How should I wear this, fashionistas? With skinny jeans? I’m not sure. Regardless, I love how delicate and feminine this top is and was happy to hang it in my closet.
Gilli Ribbed Cardigan
So admittedly I was a little disappointed with this cardigan because it’s so “plain”, but staples like this are so crucial for every woman’s closet! I’ve tried it on three times and actually love it now. It’s very soft, a perfect fit (again – score!), and very basic (in the best possible way.) Don’t be surprised it you see me wearing this often in my fall/winter “Slice of Life” posts. It’ll be great for running around town with my daughters!
Gilli Floral Print Dress
If anyone asks me about Golden Tote in the future, I will immediately share how skilled their designers/stylists are at picking clothes that fit so well! How do they do that? Look at this dress! It fits perfectly! It hits right where it should at my knees, accentuates my waist, and fits well around my bust. I’m not totally in love with the floral pattern, but I know I need more dresses like this in my closet. It’s modest, well-fitting, and comfortable. It’s also breast-feeding friendly. Hooray! You can bet I’ll be throwing this flouncy dress on for church on Sunday!
I think you’d love Golden Tote if you…
1.) have a clothing budget that you’re okay with spending while entrusting fashion designers to style you in pieces you’ll hopefully love and wear.
2.) are looking for a gift idea for your sister, friends, girlfriend, wife, etc. This is truly such a fun treat.
3.) love subscription services, don’t have time to shop, and would like to be surprised with new styles to try.
Let’s chat!
Are you intrigued by Golden Tote? What do you like or dislike about the concept? Would you consider giving it a whirl one month?

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
