Note: Today’s post is sponsored by a LuLaRoe independent consultant. Big thanks for your continual support of my blog and the brands that support this blog. Look out for a sweet giveaway at the bottom of today’s post!
I’ve been hearing quite a bit of obsessive chatter about a company called LuLaRoe for around a year, and now that I’ve gotten my hands on many of their clothing pieces myself, I’m officially joining the masses of women who just can’t seem to get enough of this brand. I’m full-fledged addicted!
I’d heard through the grapevine that LuLaRoe was known for their incredible leggings and tunics, but I didn’t know much else and never sought to learn more or learn why everyone was going crazy over this brand. I knew that it was run by individual consultants, but because I don’t know any consultants, I figured that I had no way to shop.
Fast forward to a month ago when a successful, knowledgeable consultant named Katherine reached out and offered to style me in a few pieces. I was stoked because I was finally able to see what all the LuLaRoe hype was about!
If you’re interested, I’d love to show you real quick what I received, share my honest feedback about each piece, and then fill you in on how you can snag some LuLaRoe pieces for yourself (it’s not as easy as just going to their website and purchasing, so stay tuned.)
Perfect T: $36 (size small)
This shirt is about to get me in biiiiiig trouble because I’m interested in purchasing about 10 more. 😉 The material is soft and breathable, and the flowy fit is dreamy and comfortable. I was browsing through my closet looking for ways to wear this shirt, and I can’t believe how well it works with jeans, with leggings, and while tucked into a skirt. I wish I would have known about this shirt during my pregnancy because it would have been absolutely perfect simply because of how flowy and comfortable it is.
Which look do you like this perfect T paired with the best? Blue jeans, leggings, or the waist skirt? I’m personally digging the leggings because I feel like I’m wearing my softest pajamas!
After styling these pictures, I put this outfit in the below picture back on to wear to our MOPS Open House and sent out a quick snap, and my mom immediately called me and was all “I don’t know where you got the outfit you’re wearing in the snap you just sent me, but you need to get more of it!” She could tell just by a blurry snapchat picture that this outfit is totally up my alley. 🙂
Irma shirt: $35 (size small) | Black leggings: $25 (one size)
These leggings are unfortunately/fortunately all that they’re cracked up to be: fortunately because I love them, but unfortunately because I cannot afford the 10 more pairs that I now want. 🙂 I’ve owned a million pairs of leggings, but these really are my favorite so far. If you own a pair, you’re surely nodding your head and agreeing! They’re insanely soft, super easy to pull on, and are not see-through like some other leggings I’ve purchased in the past. Perfection.
I’m a sucker for a well-fitting tunic, and this Irma fits the bill! I love how well it covers my rear and it hits at the perfect length on my upper thigh. I wasn’t sure initially how to style this silver-y color, and I was surprised how much I liked pairing this outfit with these rustic boots.
Patterned leggings: $25 (one size)
So I’m actually wearing this outfit as we speak. 🙂 We left this morning to spend the long weekend with my in-laws in Texas, and I knew this would be a comfortable and put-together look for the 700 mile road trip. I’ve only ever owned a couple pairs of patterned bottoms before, and I think they’re playful and appropriate for a handful of situations.
Carly dress: $55 (size small)
I received this package of clothing on Monday around 1 p.m., and after trying everything on, I reached for this dress and threw it back on to wear to a 2 p.m. meeting with our financial guy. I wanted to be comfortable but also appear put together. This dress also feels like pajamas (are you noticing a trend?), so that’s obviously fantastic. It’s flowy and soft but thick and durable at the same time. The length is modest and perfect for spring, summer or fall.
Sizing
I almost always wear a medium in shirts and dresses, but Katherine suggested that I size down to a small. I’m SO thankful she did because, as you can tell, these items fit beautifully! The Carly dress is still even almost a hair too flowy, so I think next time I would gamble and go for an XS… and I typically don’t wear an XS in anything.
How to shop
LuLaRoe items are sold by independent consultants and can be purchased one of two ways: through a pop-up shop that a friend hosts or via a Facebook group. I highly recommend learning more about LuLaRoe and shopping with them by joining Katherine’s Facebook group; She has over 4,300 members, so she’s a credible consultant and knows what she’s doing!
Katherine uses this Facebook group to post her inventory and host her sales. All of the items have an individual photo and then the photos are arranged into albums that are separated by different styles. Within these albums the items are all sorted by size. If you’d like to buy an item then all you have to do is…
- Comment “sold” on the picture of the item you’d like.
- Katherine has a Googledocs form you’ll fill out to provide her with your email address and shipping information. She uses this form to keep your information private and to send each person an invoice.
- After the invoice is paid, she sends the items out!
Loyalty program
After purchasing 10 items from Katherine, she offers a similar item free!
Something I did not know about LuLaRoe
They limit the number of items that are made in each print so that every item is unique. The likelihood of seeing someone walking down the street with the same shirt as you is not likely because of the small number of items that are produced from the same fabric. This also makes some items much more difficult to find. A really popular print could be so hard to find that people end up calling it their unicorn!
Giveaway time!
Katherine is generously giving away a $50 credit to one lucky reader to use to shop in her Facebook group. Use the Rafflecopter below to enter. This giveaway ends Sunday night at 11:59 p.m. EST. I’ll announce the winner Tuesday morning, so stay tuned. Happy shopping until then! 🙂
Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
