T-minus 20 days until Mother’s Day! My mom has a couple more days here with us in Kansas, so you could say we’re celebrating a few weeks early by having fun together while Jamie is away. 🙂
When it comes to gift giving (or receiving), do you enjoy physical gifts or experiences more? I personally love giving and receiving a combination of both depending on the year and what ideas I have rolling around in my head. If you’re looking to gift an experience to your mom this year, check out this list of ideas that I put together in this previous post. If you’re more interested in gifting something physical, I hope this round-up inspires a few ideas. 🙂

: I would love to have every one of these products under my bathroom sink. They all sound divine (especially this ). This would be a great gift paired with a set of new washcloths or a pretty hand towel.
($38.86): I actually just purchased this pajama set as a gift for a loved one, and she said that she loves it and that they’re incredible soft, comfortable, and true to size. Every woman deserves a few cute pairs of pajamas to feel good in hanging around the house. 🙂 Currently available in two colors and 33% off.
($65): I’ve read that this is the best makeup/foundation applicator in the world. I’m dying to get my hands on it! My guess is that any woman who is especially into makeup would love this fancy brush. This would be a wonderful gift paired with your mom’s favorite foundation.
($75): For the mom in your life who’s headed on a tropical vacation this summer and needs a bright, fun clutch to carry.
($38.00): I purchased these recently for a loved one, and we were both quite impressed by the quality and how beautiful they really are. The monogram makes them a perfect, personal gift for someone’s home or office that they’ll surely hang on to for years. This would be a great gift paired with a cute new set of glasses.
Premier Designs Initial Necklace (~$8-$50+): I purchased an initial letter necklace for my mom a couple years ago that included Hadley’s first initial and her birthstone. Last year when Sadie and my niece Carly were born, I ordered their initials and birthstones as well. Super easy to purchase through my friend Amanda, who is a rockstar Premier Designs independent distributor.
($49): Because scalloped anything seems to be all the rage right now, and this bag is super cute!
Birchbox Monthly Subscription (varies): I’ve given and received this monthly subscription box, and it’s been fun on both ends! If you gift this to someone else, you can request the first month’s box to ship to you so that you can gift it in person along with a note saying how many months the recipient can expect to receive a box. So fun!
Let’s chat!
What are some of the best gifts you’ve received or given for Mother’s Day?
Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
