We have a new verb in our house, and that’s that we now daily need to “ESPRO” things. Jamie started saying this a few days ago, and we’ve caught ourselves using it in conversation several times since!
ESPRO is an environment-friendly stain remover that has quickly secured it’s place at the front of our cleaning supplies underneath the kitchen sink. Ha! We’ve always kept a bottle of Shout on hand as our go-to stain remover for clothing, as well as a random bottle of carpet spot cleaner to get up whatever has spilled on the floor. While these products worked okay for some stains, there were still stains such as mud or juice from a clementine that had me tossing the girls’ clothes sadly in the trash or donation pile from time to time.
Then ESPRO walked into our lives about three weeks ago, and as aforementioned, it’s quickly become a verb we throw around simply because of how often we use it (daily!)
I love love love when other people share products that are making a difference in certain areas of their lives, so I’m glad to tell you about this product that will save so many of your belongings from pesky hard-to-remove stains. In summary, ESPRO is a powerful, versatile, and safe stain remover that can be used on all fabrics, including silk and leather. It’s fantastic on carpets, athletic equipment, baby stains, hunting gear, furniture, and more. It also contains an odor guard to eliminate odors in shoes, clothing, and more. (Jamie was grateful for the odor guard aspect of ESPRO when Sadie had a little accident over the weekend on the carpet after bath time before he could get a new diaper on her. #parenthood)
(Note: I was about to type out how I feel a little “old” and nerdy sharing my relief over finding a fantastic stain remover, but I retracted my thoughts because I can’t imagine anybody not being happy to have a product that saves their belongings! We have zero interest in replacing furniture, carpet, or clothing simply because it’s wrecked with stains, so this is where ESPRO comes in.)
Check out these pictures! I’ve tried my best to keep my camera close by to quickly snap “before and after” pictures while using ESPRO. We’ve honestly used it so much though that these pictures are only a small percentage of the items we’ve used it on.
These were Hadley’s shorts a couple weeks ago. She is so girly but loves playing in the dirt. One of her favorite books is called Bunny Cakes where one of the subjects is making a dirt birthday cake. Hadley loves this part, so she likes to turn on the hose and try to form dirt into a cake, just like the book describes. Her shorts were a wreck afterwards, so I sprayed ESPRO all over them and tossed them in the washing machine. As you can see, good as new!
In the next two pictures, you’ll see that I didn’t get the entire stain out. That’s because this shirt has been washed a ton of times since the stain occurred.
This is a pajama shirt that got clementine juice all over it weeks ago. I washed this shirt without noticing the stain, and because I hadn’t treated the stain before washing it, it set in. I was so frustrated because my mom had just bought these jammies for Sadie, so I decided to ESPRO it, not expecting it to work on a stain that had already been set in for weeks. Sure enough, the stain is significantly lightened! Again, I wouldn’t expect it to take care of it all the way since this shirt has been washed and worn eight or nine times since the stain occurred. High five, ESPRO!
Hadley got chocolate from her ice cream bar on our outdoor chair cushion recently, so I sprayed ESPRO on it, let it sit for about five minutes, and then wiped off the stain with a wet rag. It wiped off with ease!
I tried ESPRO on a random stain in our upstairs hallway (top set of pictures), and it got it right up with a quick wipe. This stain had been there for months.
In the bottom set of pictures, you’ll see a dark tea stain that even our professional carpet cleaners couldn’t get out. We were sure that there was no way ESPRO would be able to ease the stain that’s been there since October, but sure enough, it’s significantly lightened. I guess this is also a good time to state the obvious, which is that these pictures weren’t lightened or altered in any way by me!

The majority of our experiences have been like the picture of Hadley’s white shorts at the top, where I noticed the stain before washing. That’s where I believe this product works the best and you’ll see the greatest difference. I have sprayed ESPRO on more than a dozen clothing items (before washing) that belong to Jamie, the girls, or me, and it’s removed the stain every single time. Every time! I probably sprayed at least five or six items when I was doing laundry after getting home from the beach on Sunday. The girls’ clothes had been sitting all weekend long with obvious signs of the activities they did with Jamie, and my clothes had various marks from traveling and all of the things we did while on vacation. I was so pleased with and grateful for ESPRO!
I love a good background story!
If you’re a sports fan, former athlete, or athlete’s parent, you’ll appreciate this story. 🙂 The founder of ESPRO actually developed this product with a team of chemists while coaching high school football. He saw a problem where grass, dirt, and blood stains on every uniform were a problem. He set out to develop a stain remover that would be associated with outdoor competitions that not only include the problems just listed, but that also include red clay, field paint, sweat stains, and bad odors. Fast forward nine years, and ESPRO is now the primary pre-spot stain remover for over 100 college and pro equipment managers, including several MLB teams. Impressive!

What are the hardest stains for you to get out? I haven’t tried it on pen yet because thankfully we haven’t had to, but I’m so curious (and optimistic) that this will do the trick. Mud has also always been a tough one to combat, but this product is helping.

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
