Gift Ideas for Preteen Boys

Well, this is admittedly not my arena. LOL.

But when I asked who the hardest people were for you to shop for on IG (back in September-ish), three people specifically mentioned their preteen nephew, grandson, Godson, etc.

So I spent a good chunk of time recently pouring through websites and articles searching for what preteen-ish aged boys are hoping to get on Christmas morning, and I think I’ve found a few things you may find helpful. Eek! Let me know if so!

Gift Ideas for Preteen Boys

, because this just looks so fun! It also promotes time together with a sibling, parent, or grandparent who wants to jump on board and put this together. Love this item so much.

and , because I was shrieking over this item when I discovered it! (Ask Jamie.) SO GENIUS! These lightning balls break down once they’re hit, so a batter never has to worry about running to chase a million balls or hitting a ball into a window. So neat!

, because I can’t imagine preteen guys are into receiving clothes for Christmas, but this seems to be a popular wardrobe piece for young men these days.

, because this is another neat item that is super educational too (just shhhhh – don’t tell your recipient that!)

, because this is quirky and funny and just seems like a preteen boy kind of item. Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like one would get a kick out of this, and then use it all the time.

, because this game is disgusting and hilarious and a good, safe option for your preteen to do with his friends while hanging out at your house.

, because books books books. The key to becoming a reader is to read books you LIKE (isn’t that a novelty?!), so do your research, read reviews and descriptions, and then pick up a few that your preteen would enjoy right off the bat.

Have you seen the rest of my 2018 gift guides? Here is one for fathers and brothers, the woman who has it all, your husband, your friends’ kids, and for a couple.

Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
