Gift Ideas for Your Husband

So this time of year is actually gift-giving central/chaos for Jamie and me. In a span of three weeks, we celebrate both of our birthdays, Christmas, and our anniversary! Yeesh! It’s pretty wild.

After a few years of trying to figure out how to “properly” celebrate all of these special occasions without always combining them, we’ve figured out a good little system. For birthdays, we buy each other gifts. For Christmas, we pick a big gift (usually for the house) together. For our anniversary, we do cards and then spend money on a nice date/experience.

So I may not be shopping for my husband for Christmas, but I am shopping for his birthday (which is the 23rd, so he came home on Christmas Day! What a gift for my in-laws, right?!)

Here are a few suggestions for what to gift your hard-to-shop-for hubby this year.

Gift Ideas for your Husband

, because he’s likely not to  research and buy himself anything “decent”, but he’ll secretly enjoy slathering on some new, nice products that make him look and feel his best. (This is what a special guy in my life asked for this year, and his reasoning was that he didn’t want to research mens skincare himself, but he was ready for “the good stuff”. Makes sense!)

, because these socks rock and this company is charitable. And who doesn’t love cushy, new socks?

because if he has the products on hand at home already, he’ll be more likely to get out there on a warm day and give not only his car a squeaky clean bath, but yours as well!

, because this is another gift he’d never think he wanted or needed, but he’ll sure as heck appreciate it once it’s set up next to his sink.

, because these Yeti-like coolers are a fraction of the price but get reviews that are through the roof! As for me and my house, we’ll be looking to purchase a few of these in lieu of Yeti, no questions asked!

because bacon.

An , because he loves little gadgets like this, and you sure can’t beat the price or the 121k glowing reviews!

A home gin brewing kit and blend from Ginbrew, because this could be a fun activity for him to dive into Christmas afternoon while the kids are playing with new toys and you’re happily relaxing.

, because he’s a list maker and organizer of all the things, and having an upgraded notebook will make him feel secretly more “legit” as the man of the house.

Knife sharpener, because he rocks at cooking, and the sharper the knife, the easier and more enjoyable cooking will be!

, because the whole family will benefit from this gift.

, because he’ll greatly appreciate the function of this gift during his frequent work or leisure travels.

Looking for more gift ideas and inspiration? Here’s a master list of my gift guides so far. Here’s the master list from 2017 as well. 🙂

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
