If you’ve never tried air fryer sausage balls, you need to add that to your to-do list! Check out one of our favorite air fryer meals below!
We were gifted an for Christmas, so we’ve been spending the last few weeks experimenting with it. We’re big fans of it so far, as it seems everybody is who’s hopped on the air fryer bandwagon.
My mom told me anything that is cooked in the oven can technically be cooked in the air fryer as well, so I decided to give this concept a whirl while baking over 100 sausage balls last Friday afternoon for our gender reveal party. Cooking them all in the oven was going to take hours, so I threw four or five of them in the air fryer to experiment with.
I set it to 370 degrees (the automatic setting on the one we have) and decided to check it at the five-minute mark. At the six-minute mark, I pulled them out to cool a bit and then dug in.
And oh my goodness – they were phenomenal! The outer layer was the most perfect level of crispy, and the inside was mouthwatering. I also tried one fresh out of the oven, and the air fryer put it to shame.
After a bit more experimenting, I was able to get up to 21 sausage balls in my air fryer that all cooked perfectly in six minutes flat. Talk about an afternoon made easier thanks to this handy new kitchen “toy”!

Let’s chat!
What do you routinely enjoy cooking in your air fryer?
Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
