Air fryer cinnamon rolls are so easy and fast and a perfect example of why every single kitchen needs an air fryer! Enjoy!
If you have an and a package of store-bought cinnamon rolls, then you’re ready to have a sweet, hot breakfast on the table for your crew in six minutes flat!
Let’s go!
My five year old has been asking for cinnamon rolls for weeks (!) and I finally remembered to put a roll in my online grocery cart a few days ago. I decided to make them yesterday morning after seeing the package in the refrigerator while I was reaching for my coffee creamer. I started walking toward the oven to preheat it, knowing that our girls would be awake within minutes, and it hit me cinnamon rolls would probably bake up beautifully in the air fryer!
Sure enough, the cinnamon rolls went from this…
to this…
to this in a snap, all without waiting 35ish minutes for them to be done (oven preheat + bake time) or heating up my house in June in Alabama with the oven.
WIN. HAPPY DANCE. HAPPY BELLY. I LOVE MY AIR FRYER!
I’ve heard that anything you bake in your oven can technically be baked in your air fryer as well, which is why I gave this a shot. This rule was totally applicable with cinnamon rolls.
Air Fryer Cinnamon Rolls: A Quick and Easy Tutorial
Spray with nonstick spray, place cinnamon rolls in the air fryer basket, then bake for six minutes on 370(ish) degrees.
I choose 370 degrees because that is what our specific air fryer defaults to, and this worked beautifully. I like the middle to be just a teeny, tiny bit on the semi-gooey side, so this temperature was great. If you want the middle to fully cook and the cinnamon rolls to be a bit more brown than mine, up the temp to 400. Note that I did not preheat my air fryer in any way.
I just placed the dough, hit the five-minute button, and let ‘er (cinnamon) roll.
I then took an extra minute to spread the icing while the girls got plates, forks, and sprinkles. We went out on the back porch (our favorite breakfast spot), they decorated their rolls per their usual (because they assume that icing ALWAYS requires sprinkles, and I guess they’re not wrong), and then quickly devoured them.
Me too.
Sadie’s eyes are always bigger than her stomach. She begs and pleads for what Hadley has (two rolls) but one is plenty for her, as she soon realizes. No problem; more for us to have later. 🙂

Let’s chat!
What are your favorite things to cook in your air fryer?
Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
