iTunes Radio Review: Why This Service is Worth Subscribing To

This iTunes Radio review shares the many reasons why we view this subscription service as worthwhile for our entire family. We’ve been subscribers for over three years and still continue to enjoy this service. I hope this is helpful in deciding whether to subscribe to this service yourself.

Subscription services have been hot for years now, and though we’ve dabbled with a few on and off, the only one that has stuck around for the long haul has been iTunes radio. Here is a quick iTunes radio review!

This iTunes Radio review shares the many reasons why we view this subscription service as worthwhile for our entire family. We've been subscribers for over three years and still continue to enjoy this service. I hope this is helpful in deciding whether to subscribe to this service yourself.
{I feel like this glimpse into my “recently played” category is such a personal look at who I really am. LOL. From Christian Radio to The Wheels on the Bus to 90s Pop. Ha!}

(You may be thinking that Stitch Fix is a subscription service, but they generally don’t like being associated with traditional “subscription” business models since customers can request, pause, or cancel their boxes an unlimited number of times whenever they want to. Sooooo there’s that!) 😉

I don’t have a darn clue when or why I initially subscribed to this service two(ish) years ago, but it’s money well spent in our home! I’m billed by iTunes each month for $9.99 and enjoy playing DJ around the house and in the car for my family.

iTunes Radio Review

We use the radio function often as well as the search option.

The radio function offers an unlimited number of skips, so I enjoy putting it on and letting it roll when I’m doing chores around the house, making a meal, or driving around town.

I enjoy the search option when there’s a certain song I’m stuck on or the kids have a specific request. I also really like the suggested playlists.

{I know you’re judging my search for the Macarena. Ha! Hadley’s been super into it ever since watching Hotel Transylvania 3, and I don’t mind playing DJ for her and watching her killer moves.}

{I love finding various playlists that others have made public.}

We all get in funks sometimes, and one of the ways I sometimes snap myself out of a “mood” is by putting on Christian music while I work on whatever I’m doing. I love that Apple music is always set up to play the most recent or most popular tracks.

{This Christian radio station is my favorite. It often turns a sour mood completely upside down.}

I also really like this service for times when I want the kids to play around the house with the TV off. I can search for general Disney playlists, specific soundtracks to movies they’re loving, etc. and they love this so much!

{We love the Holiday Hits during Christmastime!}

For us it’s a super justifiable purchase because we use it every single day, often all throughout the day. We also hook it up to Jamie’s and use it for entertaining too!

If you’re interested in playing DJ more regularly for your fam, this may be a good monthly purchase for you too! 🙂

Let’s chat!

Do you subscribe to any music services? We both have had XMradio in the past but canceled it years ago.

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
