deals!

Livingsocial.com and groupon.com
are turning me into an impulse buyer, but I’ve nailed some pretty good deals!

I have snagged five deals in the last few weeks
and am growing more obsessed with the websites by the minute!

1.) two 16″ x 20″ canvases of a favorite wedding picture (one for our home and one for my parent’s home) and an 8″x”10″ canvas of my family at the wedding for my parents (and now I wish that I would have gotten one for myself!). I paid a grand total with shipping of $118. Thank you canvaspop.com! They are absolutely GORGEOUS and I would highly recommend this website!

2.) a 16″ x 20″ canvas for my mother-in-law of her favorite wedding picture of Jamie and me from canvasondemand.com for $45! This is her birthday present from Jamie and me.

3.) A ticket to go cross off life goal #2 – skydiving! Mallory, Emily, and me snatched up this deal last month for $130. We plan on going pretty soon and are excited that when we get there all we have to pay for it the picture/video package, which is around $75. I always though skydiving would cost me a fortunate, but not when you buy it at half-price a few months ahead of time! CAN’T WAIT! skydivealabama.com

4.) $50 worth of shoes, clothes, etc. from a boutique in Huntsville called Shoefly for $25! Haven’t used it yet… waiting for spring! I love shopping this way because now when I go shopping, I won’t feel like I’m spending any money because I paid for it ahead of time. 🙂

5.) This one I bought for my dad just because – $25 worth of Tommy’s Pizza for $12. This popped up as the deal of the day, and I “gifted” it for my dad through his email. He said it was a nice surprise and is using it for dinner tonight!

I haven’t purchased any of LivingSocial’s “escapes”, but I am itching to SO bad!
Seriously, if you haven’t checked out these websites, DO IT! They are such great options for gifts for others. Come July, I’ll be on the lookout to buy to Christmas gifts!

Erica
Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
