If you read yesterday’s post, you read that I took a little break from the cleanse over the weekend due to not picking my start date too well. I didn’t go overboard on what I ate by any means, but I didn’t stick to the “strict” cleanse food guide either! Today I was back to it, so I wanted to give a quick update on how today went.
Breakfast – I actually accidentally skipped breakfast because the morning just flew by. By the time I got back from my run, it was 10:30 and almost lunchtime. I drank a rehydrate, showered, fed Hadley, put her down for a nap, and then finally fixed myself something to eat!
Lunch – A big bowl of leftover Ground Turkey Baked Spaghetti
Snack – fresh raspberries and some green grapes
Dinner – Big veggie salad with leftover fajita mix (grilled chicken, sautéed onions, and sautéed peppers) on top (flavored salsa is my go-top dressing of choice)
Dessert – sliced green apple with a tablespoon of melted creamy peanut butter drizzled on top! mmm!
Also, today was a great mail day because these little babies arrived!
I participated in a giveaway a few weeks ago and actually won! I saw these moccasins on Shark Tank about a year ago, so I was excited when I saw a sorority sister’s blog was featuring them in her giveaway! I got them in a bigger size so Hadley can hopefully wear them as soon as the temps get cooler later this year. Not only are they adorable, but they can’t slip off her feet. I know these will be a wardrobe staple in her closet this fall/winter. 🙂 I’m already sure that there are a few more pairs in her future.
Speaking of giveaways, you entered the THREAD giveaway in the post below, right? Four more days to enter!
Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
