Just because we’re all over the place this month didn’t mean I wanted to miss out on my monthly Stitch Fix box! A few weeks ago I changed the shipping address to where I knew that I would be on the estimated delivery date, and a few days ago I found a new cardboard box with mint Stitch Fix tape waiting for me on the doorstep. We’ll call this month’s box a surprise box because everything in it was a surprise – I didn’t ask for anything in particular this time around! All of these pieces are much more affordable than what I received last month which is a relief and makes the whole process much more fun.
Stitch Fix Review
Here’s what my stylist Sarah picked out for me this month. 🙂
Le Lis Mari Mixed Material Top
Let’s just say that I received this top in my box Tuesday night and wore it immediately for a lunch date on Wednesday. 🙂 It’s incredibly soft and fits so well.
My stylist mentioned that she included this top because it’s roomy enough that my belly can grow with it for a while, but it’ll also be a great top to wear next winter when I’m not pregnant. Winner winner!
Skies are Blue Melle Fringe Detail Pullover Poncho
This style poncho totally isn’t my style, but I tried it on anyway like I always do with all of the pieces I receive. Not surprisingly, I liked it much better than I thought. Unfortunately, it’s very unflattering for a pregnant girl who would actually like to look more like I’m pregnant, so back it goes.
Madigan Ditto Cross Front Maternity Knit Top
I like this one! I’m not jumping up and down about it, but this is another one that I could wear now while I’m pregnant and also next fall/winter when I’m not. It’s a classic color and style, but like I said – I’m just not totally in love with it.
Pixley Lyra Chevron Print Dress
I’m so not a chevron-loving girl, but I love this dress! My mom and I both thought this one was definitely going back when I pulled it out of the box, but it’s so darn comfortable and will be awesome during pregnancy and next year when I’m not. Super torn about this one!
Market & Spruce Aleah Heathered V-Neck Dolman Top
Eh, this one is okay. I don’t like wearing navy tops with black pants or jeans, and I don’t have many pants that are colored. This one is easy to send back.

What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is a stop-anytime apparel subscription service that sends customers five pieces of clothing and accessories once a month (or more or less depending on one’s preferences) based on price points that one designates in her profile. Stitch Fix stylists hand-pick what to send each customer based on one’s online profile created upon sign up. Customers are charged a $20 styling fee upfront per shipment, but the styling fee is later applied to any item(s) the customers chooses to keep. If one chooses to send back all five items, Stitch Fix keeps the $20 fee. A customer’s best bet is to keep at least one item since $20 has already been paid. Stitch Fix also includes a prepaid bad to send all unwanted items back. If a customer chooses to keep all five items, she gets a 25% discount off of the entire box. So awesome! I love this concept of shopping!
Give a gift card for Christmas!
Buyers can select gift cards in a number of increments and can select one of three different delivery methods: either send gift card to recipient via email, snail mail, or print-at-home! I know so many people who would love to try Stitch Fix just once, so giving a gift card allows them to give it a shot with no financial “risk” on their part. 😉 Plus they get to put all the money toward clothing like they’d get to do at any other store. Click here to shop around for a gift card if you need a last-minute gift idea for a loved one!

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
