Drama queen alert: This fix is what MY DREAMS ARE MADE OF.
Seriously, this is my favorite box yet (and I’ve received 16). All five items are so well-fitting and so my style to a tee.
Now for some “personal talk”. It’s quite unfortunate and poorly-timed that the day after this box arrived was the day that Jamie and I sat down with our financial advisor to re-evaulate our planning and goals and all that necessary garbage, and “Stitch Fix budget” wasn’t really a thing. Hold me.
So after modeling the pieces and doing some chatting with my mom (who’s visiting – yay!) and Jamie, I’ve decided to keep it all but switch my “fix frequency” to once every three months instead of every month. Buyers receive a 25% off discount when they keep the whole box, and that makes each piece affordable (less than $35 per piece including tax) considering the high quality of each item.
So basically, instead of receiving a box each month and just keeping one or two pieces (max) I’ll now receive one box every three months with the opportunity to keep the whole box and receive the discount.
Enough blabbing! Here’s what I got. 🙂
Skies are Blue Lenor Button-Down Pintuck Detail Tank
This color! The loose (but not too loose) fit! The breathability! This shirt is perfect to me.
Dear John Finnegan Cuffed Short
I have one pair of shorts that fit me decently right now thanks to this awkward postpartum stage, so I was really pumped to get these in my fix! I was skeptical if they’d fit like I always am about shorts and pants, but of course they fit me perfectly! I actually had to grab these out of my clean-clothes pile because I’ve already worn them twice since I received them. I can officially attest that these shorts “wash and wear” extremely well and hold their shape. In fact, this is the reason I love all of my Stitch Fix pieces because they hold up so well through so many wears.
Papermoon Kyndall Lace Detail Knit Top
This shirt is so comfortable, and that lace detailing makes me swoon. It also hides my bra strap better than I thought it would (strapless bras aren’t going to happen right now during this breastfeeding gig.)
Gilli Kamile Knit Dress
The picture makes this dress look purple, but it’s the prettiest purple/blue color. It fits great and would be a fabulous dress to wear to a bunch of different occasions. It’s just simple, feminine, and pretty. I really love it and will be excited to wear it asap!
41Hawthorn Montgomery Cross Front Knit Top
I’m not jumping up and down about this pattern, but I absolutely love the fit and how easy it would be to breastfeed in (I’m thinking our plane ride next week.) I appreciate my stylist considering this need when she sent this piece.

What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is a stop-anytime apparel subscription service that sends customers five pieces of clothing and accessories once a month (or more or less depending on one’s preferences) based on price points that one designates in her profile. Stitch Fix stylists hand-pick what to send each customer based on one’s online profile created upon sign up. Customers are charged a $20 styling fee upfront per shipment, but the styling fee is later applied to any item(s) the customers chooses to keep. If one chooses to send back all five items, Stitch Fix keeps the $20 fee. A customer’s best bet is to keep at least one item since $20 has already been paid. Stitch Fix also includes a prepaid bad to send all unwanted items back. If a customer chooses to keep all five items, she gets a 25% discount off of the entire box. So awesome! I love this concept of shopping!Click here to browse my previous fixes!

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
