Hellooooo! How was your weekend? Saturday was snowy and gray, so we used the indoor time to knock out FRG work and other various volunteer or event-related tasks while the girls napped, wreaked havoc in their playroom, or watched Netflix. Definitely not my most favorite way to spend a Saturday, but it felt good to put a million checkmarks in different boxes and get ahead where we could! Leading our small group on Sunday night followed by a big chili dinner was without a doubt the highlight of our weekend. We always feel so refreshed and encouraged after spending time with this group!
Today I have your monthly gift guide. 🙂 I’ve scoured the internet to find a variety of gifts that are all priced at $40 or less. We have a handful of loved ones with birthdays coming up in the next few weeks, so finding items for this guide was particularly helpful for me this month since I was able to keep our loved ones at the forefront of my mind while looking. Enjoy!
Kiwi Crate (~$19.95/mo): I just heard about these, and they sound so fun! These crates include STEM-related (Science Tech Engineering Math) projects that are delivered via a subscription length that you choose. , or ! (Hadley would love this! Oh my goodness.)
(~$21.99): I have a necklace that looks almost identical to these that has both of the girls’ names on it. I wear it constantly.
($29.99): A sweet Easter surprise for your favorite little one.
($16.99): I finished this book a few weeks ago and really loved it. One of the best books I’d read in a while! I couldn’t wait to curl up day after day with it. Quick read!
($28): One of my best friends gift me an Alex and Ani bracelet years ago, and I still wear it frequently. It’s classic and simple and goes with everything. They’re also so cute stacked!
($28.50): Because, precious. (Look at that little bunny tail.)
($29): My mom gifted me this perfume in a set for my birthday, and I wear it almost every time I go out (if I’m dressed in something besides workout/lounge clothes). One of my favorite scents!
($29.95): I’ve been eyeing this for months because I think it’s just the perfect little baby gift! We brought a binder to the hospital when we had our babies to keep track of everything they gave us, and I still put the girls’ documents in their binders. This is even more practical! Such an organized way to keep track of important stuff, if you’re a little type A like I tend to be. 🙂
Hello Fresh ($20 for 3 meals for 2 people using this $40 off code for first-time users): My sister and brother-in-law used this service for months and raved about it. They’d tried a couple other dinner subscription services prior, and this was their favorite. They only canceled it because they moved overseas.
($39.95): Easy and attractive baby shower gift, available in four different diaper prints.
($5): We always get our canvases from Groupon deals. This is a real steal!
($39.99): My friend Kelsey used to teach in a two year old classroom, and she said that every one of her kiddos loved Magnatiles. Hadley got them for Christmas from my parents, and she plays with them every day! All of her friends that come over also love them. Worth the price tag!
($39.99): This is a clearance item, so it may not last long. I just think this is perfect for any little kid that loves Frozen!
($15.99+): Really pretty photo books, and look at all of those themes!
Bottle Breacher bottle opener ($19.99): We love this company and think they make the neatest gifts. I chatted back and forth with the owner a couple years back, and they are the nicest people. Jamie loves his bottle opener; It’s the only one we use. Talk about a great conversation piece!
Stitch Fix gift card ($20+): …because I’m scheduled to get my next quarter fix in a couple weeks and am so excited to see that little box on my doorstep! I think everybody should try it once for fun! (Warning: You might become hooked like me!)
Let’s chat!
Who are you shopping for in the next few weeks?!

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
