I’ve said before that one of my favorite things about writing a blog and reading other blogs is the opportunity it offers to share some of my favorite brands and products with a new audience, as well as learn about brands and products from others that I may have never heard about otherwise. If you know me in real life, you know that I get so giddy and vocal about things that I’m crazy about, so if we were out having a coffee date today, the chances are high that you’d hear me briefly gush about Sugar Dumplin. 🙂
One of my beautiful sorority sisters named Brooke started this company just one year ago with her mom Kathy and sister Brittany, and as her Facebook friend, it’s been so much fun to watch her business boom! They are mega talented and personally design every single piece they offer their customers.
One element that sets this clothing line apart from others is that they heavily communicate with their buyers via their Sugar Dumplin Facebook page to see what they like and dislike about pieces they’re designing. Once the designs are set, they offer them in a pre-sale before officially putting them on the website for purchase. I love that!
To say I was thrilled when she reached out to suggest working together would be an understatement. I couldn’t wait to get my girls in some Sugar Dumplin outfits! These white dresses immediately caught my eye because of how feminine and delicate they were.
I can get enough of the sweet detailing around the arms, neckline, and hem. So sweet! Sadie is in an 18 month dress and Hadley is wearing a 4T.
As soon as I saw these checkered red and white dresses, I knew I wanted to snag them for the girls. The adjustable straps are perfect and tie into the sweetest little bows.
I shared these outfits on my IG story when the package arrived a few weeks ago, and many of my Kansas followers went crazy over them! Hadley calls it her tractor dress. Love love love that smocking! I told Brooke how obsessed with this dress I am, and she was happy since she personally designed this one herself. So cute!
One reason that my girls wear a lot of dresses is because I can almost always guarantee that they will fit for a while (please they’re so darn easy!) Both Hadley and Sadie vary greatly in size when it comes to their shorts depending on the brand and style. I decided to roll the dice and pick one short and top outfit and figured it would fit one of the girls. This one ended up being a little roomy because of the loose style, so it became Hadley’s. 🙂 The straps are adjustable which made this a perfect fit for her. I intended for this outfit to possibly fit Sadie, but because it runs a bit big, it actually fits our petite oldest girl.
I absolutely love how sweet she looks in it and could see this being a precious first day of school outfit in a couple months. The quality is incredible, and I’m in love with the unique style! She doesn’t have anything else in her closet like it!
This next matching set was the first one I put the girls in, and they’ve each worn them three or four times in the last few weeks. They wash and wear so well!
Hadley’s dress is a 4T, and you can see from these pictures that it fits her well. Sadie’s bubble is an 18 month and a perfect fit for her! They wore this matching set on Father’s Day and received lots of compliments at church! I love how much attention to detail Brooke, Kathy, and Brittany pay to the garments they design. The eyelet ruffles around the straps are a perfect, pretty touch.
Besides the “farmer dress”, this dress below is Hadley’s favorite simply because it has front pockets to fit a figurine or two. 🙂
The side straps tie into a bow and help make this dress adjustable if your daughter is a bit more petite.
Hadley is wearing a 4T, and this particular dress is very true to size. Like most of Hadley’s dresses, a 4T is perfect in length but a bit roomy everywhere else. I don’t mind because this just means she’ll likely get another summer out of them. 🙂
Mamas, these clothes aren’t just for girls; they have just as many precious garments for boys too! They currently have all seasons for sale on their website and are taking pre-orders for holiday garments on their Facebook group page.
My personal recommendation is to snag these clothes for upcoming first day of school outfits, fall holiday pictures, and then for the holiday season! They are so picture perfect and excellent quality.
Size recommendation: If your child is in between sizes, I would size down.
And did I mention that almost everything is right around the $25 mark? I have honestly never seen unique outfits like these at such affordable prices. Never!
I am loving several of the many items currently available for pre-sale! PS: They have a TON of holiday pre-sale items, and TODAY (July 7th) is the LAST day to order via the Facebook group. Browse the items here! Here are a few of my favorite that are threatening our bank account. 🙂
I love everything on their site, but if I were going to purchase more pieces for a girl, I would snag these (currently for sale).

And I would snag these if I had a son. 🙂

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
