Do you have “go to” gifts for the men in your life that you find yourself routinely giving for every birthday, Father’s Day, and Christmas? Shirts, ties, maybe a new wallet? Admittedly I always resort back to one of these old faithful types of gifts, and if you’re like me, you want to break up the monotony this year. Here are a few ideas to get your wheels spinnin’ and cross off a few special men from your holiday shopping list.
Gift Ideas For Dads, Fathers-in-law, and Brothers
Brush Hero ($34.99), this new tool is an outdoor “one stop shop” for getting things clean (especially cars and grills – wow). I’m planning to order several of these for some of my favorite guys, so I need to get on that today! Watching the above 1-minute video will show you exactly why every home needs one of these. He’s probably never heard of it before since it’s new, so you’ll get major bonus for thinking of such a clever gift!
6-Port USB Charging Station ($29.99), because between his work phone, personal phone, and iPad, his devices are always charging in different rooms. Give him this as the place he can keep track of all of his gadgets and charge them in one place each night.
Customized frisbee ($24.99+), so that he can take his kids or grandkids out to play a round of disc golf with a new frisbee sporting a nickname, “Dad”, “Grandpa”, etc. Pick the disc and design your own! (PS: Here’s a nice metal basket he could put in his backyard if you want to splurge!)
Men’s Cookbook ($10.99), because your mom, mother-in-law, or sister-in-law deserve to be cooked for occasionally as well. 🙂 This book will (hopefully!) encourage him to do so! Plus, the title of the book is awesome.
($59+), because he has every other kind of coat or jacket, but he could really use something for those misty days (and most guys would never buy this for themselves).
The New World Champion Paper Airplane Book ($12.76), because when are you ever too old to pour through a fascinating book like this and make the coolest kinds of paper airplanes? I’m thinking loads of family fun will be created by this book. I can just see it.
($39.99), because he’s always been interested in them but doesn’t want to splurge on one. This one has exceptional rating and is a fantastic option for those in training who want to give a drone a try for the first time.
($24+), because men wear socks almost 365 days a year, and these simply feel different on your feet. The price tag is a tad shocking for socks, but once you get your hands on them, you’ll see why they’re priced like they are. I had a guy friend once tell me that one of his goals in life was to be wealthy enough where he could wear a new pair of socks every day; He just loved how new socks felt on his feet. If you want to spoil a guy that you love, Bombas is a good idea. I know the men in my life would never spend this kind of money on socks, but they’d sure be glad if I did. 😉
Dartboard and Cabinet Set ($86.69), because nobody (nobody!) is too cool for school to play darts. (Here’s a cheaper, simpler option too.)
($17.95), because you’ve seen him get frustrated by dull kitchen knives, and sharpening all of the kitchen knives could be a fun activity for him while he’s off of work during the holidays.
Cuisinart 5-in-1 Griddler ($59.99), because this indoor grill/griddler is second to none. Easy to use, easy to clean, and cooks everything from bacon to pancakes to steaks perfectly (we know from four years of using it constantly!)

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
