A Guide to the 2017 Gift Guides…

Ready or not, here come the holidays!

gift guides

I’ve always gotten a kick out of gift giving, which is why creating monthly gift guides this year has been so enjoyable. I hope you’ve found them helpful too in loving on or uplifting those you care about. A well-thought out gift can speak incredible volumes about how you see them and their specific interests and/or needs.

A couple years ago I watched as my mom attempted to be “done by December 1” with her Christmas shopping, and I saw how much more she enjoyed the month of December with all of her shopping completed. Last year I sought out to do the same, and wow – the month of December felt much lighter and so much more fun! I have my budgeting spreadsheet all ready to keep track of holiday spending, and now I’m ready to go to town (online) shopping ’til I drop!

For the next two weeks (starting Tuesday) I’ll have a new gift guide for you each afternoon in addition to regular morning blog posts. Here’s a look at what you can expect. I’ll be updating this post with links as each guide is posted!

2017 Holiday Gift Guides

Tuesday, November 7th: For moms and mothers-in-law

Wednesday, November 8th: For dads, fathers-in-law, and brothers

Thursday, November 9th: For grandparents from children

Friday, November 10th: For a baby’s first Christmas

Monday, November 13th: For toddlers and preschoolers

Tuesday, November 14th: For sisters, sisters-in-law, and the ones you love like sisters

Wednesday, November 15th: For deployed service members

Thursday, November 16th: For an expecting mom

Friday, November 17th: For elementary-aged children

Monday, November 20th: For preteens and teens

Tuesday, November 21st: For the family who likes to play games

Wednesday, November 22nd: For a Christmas morning backyard surprise

and a bonus on Thursday, December 7th (link up with Sarah and Victoria).

If you’re planning to knock out a chunk of your shopping this month, be sure to check in each afternoon to see what’s being shared. 🙂

If you’d prefer to have the gift guides emailed to you each afternoon, simply enter your email address in this box and you’ll start getting them Tuesday! If you’d like to unsubscribe after the holidays, there won’t be any hard feelings, promise. 😉

Check every afternoon from November 7th-November 22nd for a new gift guide. You’ll find creative Christmas and holiday gift ideas for him, for her, for the teenager, for kids, for parents, for mom, for dad, for sisters, for grandparents, for babies, and much more! Happy shopping!

Let’s chat!

Who is routinely the hardest person for you to shop?

Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
