Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends celebrating today near and far! Jamie and I are hosting the big event today for the very first time, so we’re looking forward to feeding a big crew later today and soaking up lots of relaxing family time.
After the meal is cleaned up and the turkey coma sets in, I have big plans to put on comfy clothes, pull up my computer, and get to work on Christmas shopping! If you’re like me and plan to try and cash in on the cyber Black Friday deals, hopefully this list will help a bit in giving you a starting place with kiddos!
This is perfect for imaginative kids of all ages who like figurines, horses, or animals in general. There is also a spot on the stable to name each horse!
A , because this promotes wonderful quality time between a child and any adult who is brave enough to whip together a few dishes with a little one’s helping hands.
(135 pieces), because this looks like just plain fun and is super affordable too!
, because this book is an absolute favorite in this house. It is silly to read and totally captivating for kids!
This is a practical gift that is also one that’s likely unexpected, but will be so loved and appreciated.
, because this suspenseful game is great for kids of all age. It was a personal favorite of mine when I was younger, and my girls love playing it every time we get it out.
, because I’ve never met a kid who can get enough of sidewalk chalk (and they likely need more to replenish what they finished up last summer).
, because this is a gift that only the coolest honorary aunts or uncles get the kids they love.

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
