Gift giving is one of my favorite things to do, especially when I’ve found something that has me excited for the recipient to open.
We’ve had a lot of special occasions the last few months that have had me running around town or scouring the internet in search of the perfect item(s), but there have been a few times where I have felt myself in a pinch resorting to purchasing something last minute that’s not quite as thoughtful as I would have liked.
We’ve all been there. Whenever I’m caught in a situation like this, I always think back to these monthly gift guides I used to do and think “I need to pick that series back up!” Because occasions present themselves all year long to love on others with gifts (birthdays, anniversaries, pick-me-ups, thank yous, etc. etc. etc.), I’ve decided to bring back this little light-hearted series through the end of the year, and hopefully into the next!
So without further adieu, here are a handful of random gift ideas that I hope inspire a gift you are excited to give in the near future.
JUNE GIFT GUIDE
Dremel GO-01 Powered Cordless Electric Screwdriver ($39.97): Because this thing looks stinkin’ handy and something I know Jamie and I would love to have around the house.
($14.44): Because I’ve heard great things about this book and have had it in my own Amazon wish list for a while to grab for my girls one of these days.
($645.00): Because my sister Jennifer just got this vacuum and she said that it’s beyond fabulous. She can’t stop looking for things to clean! Ha. This would be such a great (big!) gift for something who could use it.
($14.99): Because this is something that is easily stored, unfolded, and set up for a quick pick-up game in the yard with family and friends. Hadley would love this because she loves anything that promotes quality time, especially if it’s outdoors.
($8.99): Because it’s just so cute on my nephew, and is available in 15+ colors.
($43.68): Because this book is gold for all things mobility (ask anyone who’s read it). It’s highly regarded, and for good reason.
($24.99): Because your loved one has a big trip coming up but would likely never buy these packing cubes for themselves (they’ll thank you up and down later after finding them so handy!)
($19.48): Because you love a little girl who will smile so big the first time she twirls around in her new nightgown.
($26.80): Because this gift will be well received as a pick-me-up, birthday gift, or other special occasion where you want your recipient to know that she deserves a little pampering and time to herself.
($29.99): Because the 6k glowing reviews don’t lie! This would be an excellent gift for the person in your life with a knack for entertaining.
($19.99): Because this is great gender-neutral gift and sure to evoke a lot of “aww”s from those at a baby shower.
($34.85): Because fresh flowers and greenery have the ability to brighten any home and mood, and a vase like this will make the arrangement that much more beautiful (and the recipient’s smile that much bigger).
Let’s chat!
Do you hit a home run with any gifts lately? Maybe a Father’s Day gift?
Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you! I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos. I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 4, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!) I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
