21 Suggestions For Helping a Mom After She Brings Home a New Baby

Once a friend or family member has a baby, do you have a “go to” routine for when to go visit the new little one? Some people love welcoming visitors to the hospital, while others prefer a set amount of quiet time to adjust at home before opening their doors to company. I know many people who insist on bringing… Keep Reading

DIY Wall Art & A Living Room Wish List

For almost a year I’ve been clueless about what to put over my couch. I didn’t want to put a mirror because I already have a few of those on nearby walls, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted instead. I knew that I wanted it to be some kind of large art, but we’re talking $100 or more for… Keep Reading

Show & Tell Tuesday: High School Pictures & Memories

When I first saw today’s prompt for Momfessionals’s “Show and Tell Tuesday”, I was skeptical about taking a walk down high school memory lane on the blog, but I’m so glad that I decided to pull out my old albums and take a peek.  I’ve had so much fun the last couple of days browsing page by page and remembering… Keep Reading

Slice of Life – 8/17/15

When I looked at my calendar at the beginning of August I noticed that it was much more empty than our summer months usually are, and we have really enjoyed having the ability to make last-minute family plans, relax a bit more than usual, and take each day at a time. Here’s a short look at life through my iPhone… Keep Reading

When Home Decor Tells a Story: Framing My Grandparent’s Telegram

When I was visiting my parents in Alabama back in March I was able to also visit with my aunt who flew down to help care for my mom after she broke her ankle. She brought along many old family keepsakes that she’d recently found and wanted to share with my mom. She had things like old photographs, their parent’s… Keep Reading

Meet Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you!

I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos.

I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 5, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!)

I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
