Slice of Life: June 26th, 2018

Hey friends! I’m typing away, putting this together on Monday night while plopped comfortably on the couch with The Bachelorette聽in the background and a husband around the corner who is acting like he isn’t counting down the minutes until The Proposal comes on. 馃槈 It’s the silliest show, but neither of us can turn away! Our girls have been out… Keep Reading

Our Experience with ISR Swim Lessons

I vividly remember the first time I saw an ISR swim (Infant Swimming Resource) video. My Kansas bestie Meg had put her infant son Jack through the program (before we met them) during their time stationed at Fort Rucker (Alabama), and she showed me a video of him finding his way to the top of the water and getting on… Keep Reading

A Fast-Paced Celebratory Weekend

This past weekend was a good one – the type that makes your heart hurt a little bit once it’s over because you wish that days like these were the norm. But you know what? If they were the norm, would we appreciate them as much? Because it’s so true that you always want what you sometimes can’t have. Regardless,… Keep Reading

Potty Training Sadie: Success!

So not only is this part two of potty training our hilarious Sadie, but it’s also all about #2. Yeeaaahh, we’re going there! Top 10 Favorite Items for Kids

This article contains my top 10 favorite items for kids.聽 Whenever inspiration strikes and is accompanied by a bit of energy, Jamie and I have been getting to work on decluttering “kid stuff” right and left. It’s kind of disheartening when I see cute baby or toddler items that the girls rarely used or liked, but baby gear and toddler/preschool… Keep Reading

Meet Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you!

I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos.

I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 5, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!)

I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
