Stitch Fix #7 – May 2015

I wasn’t expecting my latest Stitch Fix box until Wednesday, so I was thrilled to see it on my front porch late Monday night when we got back from Indianapolis. As soon as we unloaded the car I got right to ripping open the box and trying everything on. Jamie thought I was a little loco for trying on clothes… Keep Reading

What’s Up Wednesday (5/27/15)

By the looks of our calendar, this month is trying its best to go out with a bang! We have been running 90 to nothin’ around here the last week or so, but if you know me personally you know that I thrive on a little bit of busyness. Since becoming a mom I more often than not have days… Keep Reading

My Baby Showers – 2013

For those who’ve been around for a while, you may know that I took a bit of an unintentional blogging hiatus during my pregnancy back in 2013, and in hindsight I’m a little sad that I didn’t document what a wild ride that nine months truly was. One special aspect of my pregnancy that this site hasn’t seen before was… Keep Reading

Jamie’s Brigade Ball

After five years in the “real” Army (Army life post West Point), we finally got to attend a military ball! Usually military members and their dates attend these types of things every year or every other, but because of Jamie’s frequently rotating assignments we’ve somehow missed out on being able to attend one. When he told me a few months… Keep Reading

Seven

This week marks seven years since I first visited blogger.com and typed up my first blog post. It was the summer after my sophomore year of college at The University of Alabama, and I’d just subleased a one-bedroom apartment for the summer so that I could catch up with credits after changing my major. I remember sitting on my bed… Keep Reading

Hadley’s Nursery Reveal

Do you remember my little home dream book I mentioned a few months ago? Well I finally have a page in the book with zero tasks left to accomplish, and that page is Hadley’s bedroom. With (lots of) help from my mother-in-law, we finally have Hadley’s third (!) bedroom exactly as we envisioned. Take a look! Because I love before… Keep Reading

Slice of Life: Vol III

Jamie and I were having a discussion the other day with some friends about when you stop referring to your kid’s age in months, and we’ve decided that 18 months is the graduating point from months to years for us. Since Hadley will be 18 months on Sunday, we’re officially in transition mode to answering “a year and a half”… Keep Reading

Meet Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you!

I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos.

I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 5, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!)

I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
