Slice of Life: June 11th, 2018

For some reason I couldn’t wait to sit down and share a “Slice of Life” post with you today. There’s nothing super special included in today’s post, but I have come to just love going back through the pictures I’ve recently transferred from my phone to my computer and grabbing a few that are representative of our recent everyday lives…. Stitch Fix Review #25: June 2018 + A Summer Vacation Giveaway!

This post is sponsored by Stitch Fix, a personal styling service I have used and loved for years.  25 fixes later, and it’s safe to say that at least a solid quarter of my closet (honestly maybe closer to 50%)  is filled from clothes from Stitch Fix. Pants, shorts, jackets, short dresses, long dresses, sweaters, tanks, maternity clothes, nursing-friendly tops,… Keep Reading

Grocery Shopping Online: Why It’s the Bees Knees

Are you on board with online grocery shopping? Has it completely changed your grocery shopping routine for the better like it has for me? We cook better meals, save more money, and generally can’t get enough of what a time-saver it’s truly become for our fam. About 2.5 years ago, Hadley and I were in Alabama for a month staying… Keep Reading

Military Life 14 Comments

Perspective.

Something the Army taught me is to be grateful for every single “quiet” moment I have with my husband. Having him away was painful at times, as well as exhausting and just plain lonely, but the weekends and holidays that we were able to spend together after time apart felt like some of the happiest days I could remember. We… Keep Reading

I Love Potty Training

Lies lies lies. I loathe potty training. Ask anyone that knows me, and they’ll tell you how animated I get about how much I disliked it when I did it with Hadley. Maybe it had something to do with wintertime, no outdoor play, no husband, no wine, two major regression periods (once when Sadie was born and again when Jamie… Keep Reading

A Sweet Memorial Day Reunion

We kicked off a drizzly Memorial Day with an Orangetheory workout for me and a “Murph” Crossfit workout for Jamie followed by a quick family walk before we shifted gears. We had a load of people to feed that evening at our home, and I was busting at the seams with excitement! Most of you know that my sister Jennifer… Keep Reading

Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Review: The First Few Weeks

Hi friends!! Ahh, thanks for sticking with me last week as I posted way less than I usually do (sad face!) Like I mentioned in yesterday’s “Slice of Life”, I realized that I way overdid it this month with jumping from one thing to the next to the next, and though May was an incredibly fun month, we already know… Keep Reading

Meet Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you!

I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos.

I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 5, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!)

I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
