Sausage, egg, and cream cheese breakfast casserole: So here ya have it, folks. Sausage, egg, and cheese upon a flaky crescent crust made extra delicious by the spices and cream cheese. Mmm mmm mm. This breakfast casserole will serve 12, but realistically it may only serve about 8 people because I can guarantee you'll have some guests sneaking back to the dish for heaping seconds.

Slice of Life: December 19th, 2017

Hello, hello! When I opened up my phone to grab some pictures for today’s “Slice of Life”, I noticed there weren’t nearly as many as usual. Definitely a sign that we’ve been hanging low and soaking up the quietest Christmas season we ever have, and I don’t hate it. Not one single bit. If there’s one thing I’m learning as… Keep Reading

“How Much Do You Charge For a Sponsored Post?” + More Blogging Questions Answered

About a year ago I started really internalizing the idea that if you want to grow, you need to be willing to constantly learn new things. Every industry is constantly evolving, and these days, faster than ever! As a blogger, I enjoy learning about how to improve this or that via posts I read or courses I take, as every… Keep Reading

Amazon Subscribe and Save Deals – December 2017

I’d have to look back at old posts to figure out how I ever got rolling with this whole Subscribe and Save thing from Amazon, but I’m not sure I’ll ever look back! It’s one of my very favorite things. Having household essentials on hand 24/7 has helped me stay on track with one grocery trip per week, which in… Keep Reading

The Sweetest Weekend (He’s Home!)

All weekend long we floated on cloud nine as we celebrated not only Jamie’s homecoming from Poland, but more importantly the fact that he’s home with us for good. With the exception of 2014 (which included two cross-country moves), every year since 2011 has been touched by a deployment, so Friday night was a huge, huge, huge victory for our… Keep Reading

Pancakes from Scratch Recipe: You'll never make pancakes from a box again after trying this recipe. It's quick, easy, and requires ingredients you likely already have in your pantry. They're quick, easy, dense, slightly fluffy in the just the right way, and just the very best recipe.

Ahh. It’s Saturday. I love Saturdays. I hope you’re enjoying a festive one this mid-December weekend! Today’s blogger is sweet sweet sweet. Meet Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you!

I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos.

I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 5, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!)

I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
