Three Reasons You Should Read to Your Kids

Hi there! I’m Britt, and I’m grateful to Erica for sharing her space with me today. A bit about me, I live in Idaho, I’ve been married for 6.5 years to Kyle, and we have two little ones – Abe is 2.5 and Eliza is 10 months. My husband is a professional counselor and runs a parenting program for the… Keep Reading

Our Morning Routine

This post was sponsored by Nature Made® as a part of an Ambassador Program for Influence Central. I’ve always been a morning person. Mornings feel like resets, and I’m always grateful for grace in the form of resets. How well our morning goes is often pretty indicative of how our day will go. I’m more likely to be productive early in the… Keep Reading

Slice of Life – October 11th, 2016

Well hello there Tuesday! I hope this finds you well in your neck of the woods. Popping in today with another “Slice of Life” from the last week or so that’s as random as they usually are. 🙂 Hope you enjoy! First things first: I now understand why everyone is wearing lately. In all seriousness, I think I’ve worn them every single… Keep Reading

I’m personally feeling really refreshed this morning after a much-needed weekend full of family time and no set plans. On Friday morning Jamie and I were texting back and forth about how we were both craving some laid-back family fun… Keep Reading

Stitch Fix #17 – October 2016

You may remember that a few months ago I switched my Stitch Fix frequency from once a month to once every three months. Though I do miss the treat of seeing a Stitch Fix package on my doorstep each month, there was no way I could afford to keep the entire box month after month. Receiving just four boxes a… Keep Reading

Annual Pumpkin Patch Outing + More Weekend Snapshots

I have always loved the month of October, but I’m extra thrilled this year to see this month roll around. We knew September was going to be a wild month, but Hadley’s accident added an extra layer of crazy. Seeing a new month on the calendar makes me feel weirdly refreshed and positive, and I’m looking forward to the fun… Keep Reading

Meet Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you!

I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos.

I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 5, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!)

I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
