Our “Coffee Fridge”: A Review of the GE Profile with Keurig K-CUP Brewing System

I’ve had the best intentions for so long to share with you all about our “coffee fridge” that so many of you dubbed it last year when I first shared about it on Instagram. Maybe it’s a good thing that it’s taken me a hot minute to sit down and share about it because every day that passes is another… Keep Reading

The New Weekday Routine We’ve Fallen Into

I wrote a post in 2017 outlining our daily rhythm, which was created out of necessity on the heels of my husband’s 4th deployment. Not only did our kids do better when they had some semblance of what to expect each day, but I found that I enjoyed the toddler/preschool stage of motherhood much more knowing what I had time… Keep Reading

ISR Refresh Course: Sadie’s Second Year of Lessons

Sadie finished up her ISR refresh course last week and I thought I’d share a little bit about it for those of you with kiddos who may be interested in this topic. 馃檪 Most of you know that we are swim safety fanatics around here and I believe in ISR with every fiber of my being, so any opportunity to… Keep Reading

What Activities Are Your Kids Doing this Summer?

If you have kids of any ages who will be out of school this summer, what are you envisioning your summer will look like? Last year we didn’t do any traveling as a family or sign up for any paid activities simply because we wanted to take the summer months to ease into our new lifestyle here in Alabama, but… Keep Reading

Slice of Life: April 29th, 2019

I really love springtime. Beautiful days are like a drug to me. I can’t help but want to do everything outside: eat, hang out/talk with friends and family, mess with my flowers, go on walks, lounge on our covered patio (bonus points if it’s raining, ahhhh), just everything. The pollen that tickles my nose makes me a little crazy at… Keep Reading

7 Amazon Purchases I’m Loving Right Now: Best Buys On Amazon

These are my top 7 amazon purchases that I’m loving right now! I’ve seen a good handful of posts like this circulating lately, and for some reason, they are some of my favorite posts to skim! Since you can find nearly everything and anything on Amazon, I find it fascinating what others have discovered, purchased, and loved. I recently dove… Keep Reading

Pregnancy Chit Chat: Week 29

Happy Wednesday to you! I’m happy to sit down and do a little bit of documenting and share about how things are going this pregnancy, something I haven’t really done much of since the conclusion of my first trimester. You may remember that I previously shared how difficult weeks 7-12 were. After opening up about how I was struggling, my… Keep Reading

Sadie’s 3rd Birthday Shenanigans + Easter 2019

Last week was a flurry of one celebration after the next, with starting in Boston to watch my brother run the marathon on Monday and then Sadie turning three on Thursday, while also mixing in Easter activities nearly every day from Wednesday-Sunday. It was a super fun week, but let’s just say my activity tracker on my Apple Watch let… Keep Reading

Meet Erica

Hi! I’m Erica, and I absolutely adore sharing my life on this website with you!

I come here almost daily to blab about all of the things related to being a regular wife and mother in today’s ever-evolving society. I share about our new home, what’s on our kitchen table, what we’re hanging in our closets, where we’re traveling to next, my crazy 5 a.m. work outs, how I make time for girlfriends, our faith, and much more. We always have a lot of balls in the air and somewhat thrive on the chaos.

I believe in the power of story-telling as a form of inspiration and entertainment, so I’m here to do both! I was born and raised in north Alabama and recently re-planted roots here again after my husband transitioned out of the Army (he is now in the Reserve and it’s going so well!) I’m a super proud mom to three little girls (ages 7, 5, and 1) who seem to be the stars of the show around here (for good reason – they’re pretty great!)

I’m so glad you found me and are here reading! I hope we can get to know each other here on the blog as well as Facebook and/or Instagram. xoxo
